In a video, YouTuber Melonie Mac presents a compelling argument that challenges the principles of Woke Ideology, offering biblical scripture as support. Her argument is quite persuasive.
Mac was inspired to create this video in response to a tweet by Elon Musk on December 12, where he stated, “The woke mind virus must be overcome, or nothing else will matter.”
In her response, she stated, “Woke ideology resembles a religion, one that directly contradicts the teachings of the Bible. This is not a mere coincidence.”
“Now some people were not happy about this tweet, and let me know why. That inspired me to make this video,” said Mac.
Mac makes it clear that overall she likes Musk, but does not believe that he is some savior to the world and disagrees with a lot of what he says.
“I put my faith in Jesus, not in people,” Mac says.
She begins her presentation by prefacing Ephesians 6:2 (ESV)
"For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places"
Mac emphasizes that a significant portion of the challenges we face in the world are rooted in spiritual warfare. She contends that many contemporary movements are influenced by malevolent authorities, and even by Satan himself.
She is indeed correct, pointing out that numerous individuals view modern woke movements as virtuous and as vehicles for advancing the greater good. This includes efforts to combat racial injustice, promote social justice, champion women’s rights, and support marginalized groups, among other causes.
“It (wokeness) disguises itself as a positive thing that’s trying to help society. And this is why a lot of people will fall into it,” says Mac, and she further clarifies, “Not everybody who believes in woke ideology is a bad person or is a follower of Satan. However, just because something prefaces itself or disguises itself as good does not mean that it is the case.

Mac then applies an excerpt from the mission statement found on the Church of Satan’s website to effectively link woke ideology with Satanism.
We Satanist are thus our own "Gods," and as beneficent "deities" we can offer love to those who deserve it and deliver our wrath (within reasonable limits) upon those who seek to cause us -or that which we cherish-harm.
Sound familiar? Cancel culture, the insistence on using preferred pronouns, and the push for representation of all genders, races, sexual orientations, and more. It’s all about individual judgments made by the woke crowd regarding who is deserving of love or condemnation.
“I don’t get to choose who is good and bad. I don’t get to choose who deserves love and who doesn’t. According to my faith, all of us fall short, all of us are born into sin. None of us deserve grace, none of us deserve mercy. But God gave us that and Jesus dying on the cross for our sins we do have a path to redemption that we can take. That we don’t deserve. ” says Mac.

Mac goes on to explain that some individuals may attempt to justify their sins by claiming they were born that way and it’s a natural part of who they are. However, she contends that this is not accurate, as sin entered the world due to human free will. People are born with inherent sinful inclinations, and they must actively resist these urges. Staying vigilant, immersing oneself in the Word, and maintaining a prayerful attitude are essential to remaining strong and overcoming these sinful desires, lest one succumbs to them.

God remains constant, unchanging throughout history. While Jesus came to liberate us from the confines of the law and introduce us to the grace of God, it is important to remember that God still expects us to actively pursue righteousness in our lives.
